本ポリシーは、Windows 向けアプリ「Frost Desktop+」（以下「本アプリ」）における情報の取り扱いについて説明するものです。
1. 収集する情報
本アプリは、個人情報を含むいかなる情報も収集しません。開発者や第三者のサーバーへ情報を送信することもありません。
2. お使いのパソコン内に保存される情報
本アプリは、機能を提供するために次の情報をお使いのパソコン内にのみ保存します。
- グループとメモの名前・位置・大きさ・色、透明度や言語などの設定
- グループに追加したファイル・フォルダ・アプリの場所（パス）
- メモに書いた内容。削除したメモも、元に戻せるように直近20件まで保存されます
- メモが壊れたときに備えた控え（前回の起動時点のコピー）
- 不具合調査のためのエラーログ（エラーが発生した場合のみ）
これらはお使いのパソコンの外へ送信されることはなく、本アプリをアンインストールすると削除されます。
3. ファイルへのアクセス
本アプリは、デスクトップにあるファイルや、ユーザーがグループに追加したファイルの名前とアイコンを読み取り、表示します。ファイルの内容を読み取ることはありません。ファイルの移動・コピー・ショートカット作成・名前の変更・削除は、ユーザーがドラッグ＆ドロップや右クリックメニューで操作したときにだけ、Windows 標準の機能（デスクトップやエクスプローラーと同じ処理）によって行われます。
メモにファイルをドロップした場合は、そのファイルの場所（パス）が文字としてメモに書き込まれるだけで、ファイルの内容は読み取りません。
4. Frost Desktop・Frost Notes からの引き継ぎ
同じパソコンに「Frost Desktop」または「Frost Notes」の設定がある場合、本アプリは最初の起動時にそれを読み取り、グループやメモを引き継ぎます。読み取るだけで元の設定は変更せず、引き継いだ内容もお使いのパソコン内にのみ保存されます。
5. インターネット通信
本アプリはインターネット通信を行いません。広告、アクセス解析、トラッキングの仕組みも含まれていません。メモの中の URL をクリックした場合は、お使いのブラウザでそのページが開きます（通信はブラウザが行います）。
6. 第三者への提供
本アプリは情報を収集しないため、第三者に提供することはありません。なお、Microsoft Store での購入・ダウンロードに関する情報は Microsoft のプライバシーポリシーに従って取り扱われます。

Frost Desktop+ Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Windows app “Frost Desktop+” (the “App”) handles information.
1. Information we collect
The App does not collect any information, including personal information. It does not send any information to the developer or to third-party servers.
2. Information stored on your PC
To provide its features, the App stores the following only on your PC:
- Names, positions, sizes and colors of groups and notes, and settings such as transparency and language
- The locations (paths) of files, folders and apps you add to groups
- The text you write in notes. Deleted notes are also kept (the last 20) so that they can be restored
- A backup copy of your notes (as of the previous launch), in case the notes file gets damaged
- An error log for troubleshooting (only when an error occurs)
This information never leaves your PC and is removed when you uninstall the App.
3. Access to files
The App reads the names and icons of files on your desktop and of files you add to groups, in order to display them. It does not read file contents. Files are moved, copied, renamed, deleted or shortcuts created only when you do so yourself by dragging and dropping or through the right-click menu, using the standard Windows features (the same operations as on the desktop or in File Explorer).
When you drop a file onto a note, only its location (path) is written into the note as text; the file contents are not read.
4. Carrying over from Frost Desktop and Frost Notes
If settings of “Frost Desktop” or “Frost Notes” exist on the same PC, the App reads them the first time it starts, to carry over your groups and notes. They are only read, never changed, and what is carried over is stored only on your PC.
5. Internet access
The App does not connect to the internet. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking. When you click a URL in a note, that page opens in your web browser (the browser makes the connection).
6. Sharing with third parties
Because the App collects no information, nothing is shared with third parties. Information related to purchasing and downloading through the Microsoft Store is handled under Microsoft’s privacy policy.
